With a vision to be a healing place for a hurting world, Mike Haman, along with his wife, Rachel, serve as Lead Pastors of Healing Place Church (HPC) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They also oversee its other satellite campuses including: Angola State Penitentiary; Baton Rouge, LA (Spanish Campus); Baton Rouge, LA (North Baton Rouge Campus); Denham Springs, LA; St. Francisville, LA; El Paso, Texas; Swaziland; Mozambique; Honduras; Spain; and an online campus. Before serving as Lead Pastors, they invested twenty years of ministry into seeing the vision of HPC expand around the globe, from serving as the Youth Pastors, Young Adult Pastors, Teaching Pastors, and Missions Pastors.
Mike has a desire to empower people in the local church to live a passionate life for God, and his heart is committed to his wife and three children. He has authored the Second Mile, which encourages people to go the distance to fulfill their purpose in life. God has given him a vibrant gift to effectively communicate and teach Biblical principles for daily living and to equip people to use their gifts in ministry.
With over twenty years of experience in ministry and leadership, Mike has had the honor and privilege of sharing the relevant and timeless Gospel message in numerous venues. He has spoken in chapels for the NFL, on college campuses throughout the southeast, in crusades overseas, and at conferences around the world.
Pastor Mike resides with his wife and three kids, Alexa, Mikaela, and Trevor in Baton Rouge.
